Quran Reading & Recitation Course
Reciting the Holy Qur’an correctly is one of the greatest acts of worship and one of the best ways to draw closer to Allah (the Exalted). Allah says:
“So recite what is easy for you of the Qur’an.” (Surah Al-Muzzammil 73:20)
The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said:
"Whoever recites a letter from the Book of Allah will receive a reward, and each reward is multiplied by ten. I do not say that Alif-Lam-Mim is one letter, but Alif is a letter, Lam is a letter, and Mim is a letter."
At Tarteel Academy, we offer a comprehensive program that helps students learn how to read the Qur’an correctly and improve their recitation step by step with the guidance of qualified Egyptian teachers.
This course is suitable for beginners as well as students who can already read the Qur’an but want to improve their recitation and correct mistakes.
Course Levels
Level 1 — Quran Reading (Noor Al-Bayan)
This level is designed for beginners who want to learn how to read the Holy Qur’an from the beginning.
Students learn Arabic letters, pronunciation, and reading skills through the Noor Al-Bayan method, which is widely used for teaching correct Quran reading.
During this level, students practice reading words and verses step by step until they are able to read from the Mus-haf correctly.
Students may also memorize selected Surahs starting from Surah Al-Fatiha and short Surahs from the last Juz.
This level usually takes 3 to 9 months, depending on the student’s level and the number of weekly classes.
Students can join this program starting from the age of five years old.
Level 2 — Quran Recitation Correction
This level is suitable for students who can already read the Qur’an but want to improve their recitation and correct mistakes.
During this level, students recite the Qur’an with qualified teachers who carefully correct pronunciation and help students apply the rules of Tajweed.
Teachers focus on the student’s weak points and work on improving recitation step by step until the student becomes more confident and accurate.
Students may also complete a full Khatmah (recitation of the entire Qur’an) while receiving continuous correction and guidance from the instructor.
